Our Name

Early Promises is born from the concept of being planters of the "Seeds of Learning," who lovingly provide an environment which stimulates growth and development. Early Promises nurtures the young child to learn exponentially about their world and all that it has to offer, in an age appropriate manner.

Our Philosophy & Principles

Safety

Our number one responsibility to each child is to provide a safe and secure environment.
Our children's safety is ensured through our first line of defense - our nurturing staff.
Safety is also ensured through controlling access to our facility, via monitoring and personal "checking in and out" procedures.
Our employees are continuously trained and updated on all child care regulations and procedures.

Communication

Parents and teachers are encouraged to share information about the children so that we may ensure that their individual needs are met.
We appreciate the volunteer efforts of parents and community members, in the total nurturing process of the young child.
We strive to ensure that all interactions between parents, teachers, staff and children, be open, honest and respectful. (Integrity is paramount).
It is most important that our staff make themselves available to listen to a child and/or a parent

Child Development and Education

We employ skilled and knowledgeable teachers.
We promote genuine laughter and happiness in children by providing unique learning experiences.
We introduce children to age-appropriate learning experiences that allow them to explore and build a healthy understanding of the world around them.
We encourage and promote the unique qualities within each child.

Respect

We believe, that all children hold a unique gift within themselves that make them who they are and are deserving of respect.
Children are also taught to respect others by the example of the respect they receive.
Children are taught to be courteous and considerate towards one another in words and in deeds.
Individual contributions of teachers and volunteers will be acknowledged and rewarded.
We expect our staff and parents to be shown respect, not only by the children but also, by one another.
We acknowledge that each industry and life is subject to challenges, issues and disputes-our goal is that we maintain a mutual respect for one another as we work through anything that may arise on a daily basis.

Founders

CJ & Shauna,

Early Promises is a result of our vision of many years of investing in the lives of hundreds of children including those of our own. Shauna has taught and has nurtured children for many years through the public school system as an early childhood development teacher. It is our goal, here at Early Promises to create a home-like atmosphere where children are safe, protected and stimulated with, not only our exceptional curriculum, but with the expertise of our caring and professional staff.
